The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Founded in 1978 by Eastman Kodak VP Ken Mason, membership is composed of its four charter trade organizations - International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) - along with over 40 member companies, made up of trade organizations, motion picture studios, exhibition companies, manufacturers, technical consultants, and other industry stakeholders.

The International Cinema Technology Association is a global network of professionals in the motion picture industry. CineEurope 2022, has been scheduled for June 20-23, 2022 in Barcelona.  CineEurope promises to bring you another year with the very best in exclusive studio screenings and product presentations, cinematic technologies and innovations and educational seminars to keep your business on top of industry trends.



CineAsia 2022 has been scheduled for Dec 5-8, 2022 in Bangkok.  Check links for more information.  The CineAsia trade show is where cinema exhibition and distribution professional come to do business and network. XDC and SENSIO Join Forces For the Distribution of Live 3D Alternative Content

XDC, the n°1 pan-European digital cinema service company, and Live 3D trailblazer SENSIO Technologies Inc. have decided to join forces to allow XDC to distribute, in Europe and the Middle East, live 3D alternative content events provided in the premium-quality SENSIO® Hi-Fi 3D format. 

The resulting agreement will enable cinema operators working with XDC Entertainment Services to offer the public the thrill of sports and entertainment events as if they had front-row seats. Past live 3D events powered by SENSIO include the NBA 2011, distributed to cinemas on two continents, the 2010 FIFA World CupT, screened in 33 countries around the world, the RBS Six Nations rugby final 2011, a concert by French singer Julien Clerc, and the Opera de Rennes's Don Giovanni.

SENSIO® Hi-Fi 3D technology has been trusted by the biggest names in event creation and promotion since it powered the very first live 3D event in 2009 (the BCS Bowl). Since then, the company has continued pioneering with the creation of a business model for live 3D in cinemas and the SENSIO® 3D Live Network - a global team working together to make non-movie 3D content available around the world.

XDC is the pioneer of digital cinema in Europe, and has made recent investments in the content-related business. Its distribution network covers over 20 countries across Europe, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Russia, the Netherlands, Turkey and most of Central Europe. The Middle East region is also covered, including Kuwait, the Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates and Israel.
