We have recently upgraded our login system.  An account is not required, but necessary to set your preferences and edit company information.  If you have previously registered, you can log in again using the same email address and password.  You can reset your password by following the "forgot password?" link on the login page.

  • You can now log in using your external account from GoogleTwitter or LinkedIn.  More services may be added. Feedback is requested to support@DCinemaToday.com. You may still need to add (and confirm) your email address if its not provided by the external login provider.
  • When logged in, you can access your Account Manage page by clicking on your email address under the DCinemaToday logo. 
  • A login account allows you to request edit permissions for your company listing.  This permission is granted on a request basis to authorized employees and business principals.  More information on requesting to updating company information is available on the Account Manage page.  Once authorized, the companies you can update will be listed in the Authorizations section of your Account Manage page. 
  • A login account allows you to set the order of the Market Focus tabs on the DCinemaToday Home page.  You can set any tab as your default starting tab. To do this, go to the Tab Preferences section of the Account Manage page   (Desktop only - not yet ready for the Mobile App.)   More user-specific features are under development, so we recommend you log in when possible.

Veritek and Sony Digital Cinema strengthen Customer Service and Support

Veritek is pleased to announce today the start of a 10 year service agreement with Sony Europe Ltd to deliver service support to exhibitors across Europe.  This agreement demonstrates both companies' commitment to bring quality solutions to cinemas. 
 
As well as a VPF (Virtual Print Fee) agreement, Sony Digital Cinema is providing their latest 4K projection systems to the Vue Cinemas chain to their whole network of screens. As part of the overall agreement, Sony then sought out an appropriate and qualified third party support company: Veritek worked with Sony and Vue to obtain full accreditation to deliver field engineering support for the ongoing maintenance of these systems, once they are installed. 
 
Since the 18th of July, Veritek have been providing 364 day per year coverage between the hours of 9.00am and midnight, guaranteeing a same day response for priority calls logged before 4pm. 
 
On his return from the recent Cine Europe 2011 event in Amsterdam James Salamon, Veritek’s Head of Business Development, commented, “This is a fantastic opportunity for Veritek to transfer its superb reputation for providing unparalleled levels of expertise and customer support into a new and exciting market, working in partnership with one of the world’s best known technology brands.
