Veritek Upgrades its UK Cinema NOC

Veritek, leading provider of cinema NOC services to the European market, has announced its move to a new purpose built facility – from where the company will continue to run its NOC services.

The service and support provider entered the D-Cinema market in 2011. Since then Veritek has gone from strength to strength, providing a pan-European NOC, as well as on-site engineers to deliver preventative maintenance visits, installs, upgrades and breakdowns throughout much of Europe. As it stands Veritek has direct contracts with Sony, Barco and Christie and currently employs around 290 staff with 120 full time employed engineers in the UK and 80 throughout continental Europe. With a turnover of around £20m, Veritek continues to offer a full range of services to support the D-Cinema industry whether the customer is a single screen independent, a pan-European exhibitor or a global manufacturer.

James Salamon of Veritek said: “The D-Cinema industry can be assured that Veritek will always be here to support them, our strength is our diversified portfolio of customers from five industries. This allows us to weather potential downturns in any one industry, it allows us to have far more field engineers then any other D-Cinema service provider and uniquely means that 100 percent of our revenue is derived from service contracts alone; we don’t sell equipment, so we remain brand agnostic and simply focus on providing the manufacturers and their end users - the exhibitors -  with first class support.”

With views of the South Downs in the UK and sufficient space to accommodate its support help desk operation, management and administration, the new location ticks all the boxes.

Jim Edgar, MD of Veritek said:  “The new premises allow us all to be on one site, as previously we had two separate locations in the UK; one for the helpdesk and operations and one for our ever expanding repair centre. It also provides us with room for future growth and a better working environment.”

Along with its new physical site, Veritek has launched a new online site where it has put all its resources, advice, case studies and service offerings in one place for everyone to access. The extensive multi-lingual website spans all its European operations and offers corporate clients the opportunity to delve into Veritek’s extensive portfolio of large OEM clients and see what they have to say about the service provided by Veritek.

Veritek’s new address is Franklin House, Chaucer Business Park, Dittons Road, Polegate, East Sussex, BN26 6QH, UK. It also has a new online site at www.veritekglobal.com
