Hollywood Branding Turns to Microspace Communications to Power Entertainment Nation Theater Network

Hollywood Branding International announces a strategic alliance with Microspace Communications to create the new Entertainment Nation Theater Network, a division of Hollywood Branding.  Since 2001, Hollywood Branding has utilized movie theaters coast-to-coast for the deployment of marketing campaigns for national brands and federal agencies.

In 2011, various production companies began inquiring about theatrical distribution of their entertainment content including live streaming of high-profile sporting events.  “We began setting up calls with theater circuits to better understand the needs of the theaters and how we could build a bridge from the content producers to the cinemas.  We spoke with over 50 circuits in a matter of a few weeks and learned the current state of theatrical distribution  offers many areas for improvement.  We wanted to work with the premiere satellite service and that is why we chose Microspace Communications. “ –Beverly Nation, President of Hollywood Branding.

Based on this new joint venture, the Entertainment Nation Theater Network will offer theater circuits the latest technology in satellite distribution including the capacity for live streaming events in 2D and 3D.

“The Entertainment Nation Theatre Network is a natural extension of the work Microspace has done in the motion-picture industry over the past 5 years.  As the reach of digital cinema continues to spread, Entertainment Nation will provide theatres with opportunities for programming and revenue that simply did not exist in the era of 35mm film, and we are thrilled to provide the delivery services and integration to help make these happen.” –Curt Tilly, Director of Digital Cinema, Microspace Communications.

Entertainment Nation will provide movie-goers new feature-length indie films and documentaries, concerts by A-list artists, and live streaming of high profile sporting events. In select theaters, the network will deliver Spanish language content from all over the globe.  New content categories currently being procured for theatrical distribution include educational and faith-based content, university classes,  and business seminars.

Based on the growing Entertainment Nation Theater Network, in combination with hundreds of movie theater circuits, the network delivers the largest footprint in the U.S. for 2D, 3D, and live streaming events.  The network is also the first to link movie theaters in the top 100 Hispanic zip codes for broadcasting Spanish language content.
