Angel Martín, until recently Technicolor Spain’s Managing Director and SVP, joins Ymagis Spain to lead its Digital Laboratory and Post-production Services, thus confirming Ymagis’ commitment with both Spanish content providers and exhibitors.
Ymagis, the European leading deployment entity in France, Spain, Germany and the Benelux has contracted with exhibitors representing more than 2.600 screens of which more than 2.200 are already deployed. Ymagis also provides content mastering, duplicating and delivery services from its Paris and Barcelona Digital Facilities and soon will incorporate similar services from its Berlin offices.
Angel Martín brings to Ymagis more than twenty years of experience providing services to the industry. More recently from its position as MD and SVP at Technicolor Spain and before as both Director of Marketing and Director of Sales at Deluxe Barcelona and Image Film from its inception as well as when he created Start Frame an independent service company or when he was Kodak’s Film Services representative in Spain, Angel has always shown a great capacity to accumulate successes during his career.
With the addition of Angel Martín to its team, Ymagis renews its services offering to the film industry at European level. Already counting with digital facilities that can provide the same services from Paris and its regional offices both in Barcelona and Berlin, Ymagis offering brings solutions to most key markets across Europe, benefiting from a dedicated international team combined with local expertise.
Angel Martín will lead the Spanish Digital Services offering to producers and distributors reporting to Manel Carreras, Ymagis Spain General Manager, who said: “My professional relationship with Angel dates back to many years ago, when he just started his career at Image Film, and since then Angel has been providing solutions to the film industry through the various positions he has held; the combination of his knowledge and skills with our intimate knowledge of most segments of the cinema technologies will help Ymagis provide adequate solutions to the Spanish cinema industry”
