We have recently upgraded our login system.  An account is not required, but necessary to set your preferences and edit company information.  If you have previously registered, you can log in again using the same email address and password.  You can reset your password by following the "forgot password?" link on the login page.

  • You can now log in using your external account from GoogleTwitter or LinkedIn.  More services may be added.  Contact DCinemaToday for more information. You may still need to add (and confirm) your email address if its not provided by the external login provider.
  • When logged in, you can access your Account Manage page by clicking on your email address under the DCinemaToday logo. 
  • A login account allows you to request edit permissions for your company listing.  This permission is granted on a request basis to authorized employees and business principals.  More information on requesting to updating company information is available on the Account Manage page.  Once authorized, the companies you can update will be listed in the Authorizations section of your Account Manage page. 
  • A login account allows you to set the order of the Market Focus tabs on the DCinemaToday Home page.  You can set any tab as your default starting tab. To do this, go to the Tab Preferences section of the Account Manage page   (Desktop only - not yet ready for the Mobile App.)   More user-specific features are under development, so we recommend you log in when possible.

The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Founded in 1978 by Eastman Kodak VP Ken Mason, membership is composed of its four charter trade organizations - International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) - along with over 40 member companies, made up of trade organizations, motion picture studios, exhibition companies, manufacturers, technical consultants, and other industry stakeholders.

The Union Internationale des Cinémas/International Union of Cinemas (UNIC) represents the interests of cinema trade associations and cinema operators covering 37 countries in Europe and neighboring regions.​ ​

For more than a century, the people of SMPTE (pronounced “simp-tee”) have sorted out the details of many significant advances in media and entertainment technology, from the introduction of “talkies” and color television to HD and UHD (4K, 8K) TV. The International Cinema Technology Association is a global network of professionals in the motion picture industry. Our members are on the cutting edge of new technologies and have been the driving force in digital, 3D, immersive sound systems, high frame rates and lasers. The ICTA promotes technological advancements in the motion picture industry through educational seminars and programs. The EDCF is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation that aims to act as a "Forum" to discuss key issues surrounding Digital Cinema in Europe. The purpose of EDCF is to provide a basis of common understanding across all European territories of the business and technical matters of digital cinema.

“Nabucco” Live from La Scala on February 13 in HD Cinemas Worldwide

Rising Alternative’s opera and dance series continue in 2013 with live cinematic transmissions from La Scala, Opera de Paris, the Salzburg Festival, the San Francisco Opera, and more
On February 13, Rising Alternative presents Verdi’s “Nabucco” in a live broadcast from Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy as part of its Performing Arts in HD Cinema series. “Nabucco,” one of Verdi’s most beloved operas, premiered at La Scala in 1842 and has been an international success ever since. This new production stars celebrated baritone and renowned Verdi interpreter Leo Nucci as the titular king of Babylon, with Aleksandrs Antonenko, Vitalij Kowaljow and Liudmyla Monastyrska rounding out the cast. Nicola Luisotti conducts.

Following “Nabucco,” there will be nine more live transmissions in 2013 from Europe’s greatest cultural institutions into cinemas worldwide. Artists such as Jonas Kaufmann, Anja Harteros, Thomas Hampson, Ramon Vargas, Patricia Racette, Marcelo Alvarez and Violeta Urmana star in performances of “Rigoletto,” “La Traviata,” “Don Carlo,” “Falstaff” and more in the coming season.
