MasterImage 3D, Inc., a global leader in next-generation 3D solutions for cinema and display, today named Luiz Fernando Morau, Director of Business Development, with responsibility to lead its Latin America Region.
In his new position, Morau will drive all growth opportunities for MasterImage’s 3D cinema business in the fast growing Latin American region, including development with customers, distribution channels and government. This will include launching their new high-brightness, MI-HORIZON3D system scheduled for commercial availability in the first-half of this year. Morau, who will be based in the company’s Sao Paulo office, brings more than twenty-five years of industry experience, including senior management positions in digital cinema, entertainment and technology.

Morau previously served as Head of Marketing and Business Development at the TELEM Group where he was responsible for Digital Cinema and Strategic Partnerships, mainly in the startup of Quanta DGT/AAM. He also served as Chief Marketing Officer of TVA Brazil, General Manager of Brazil for Universal Networks and Executive Director of TV Brasilia and TV Goiania.
