ECCO Launches New Company Strategy

For almost three years long-time cinema expert Thomas Rüttger's mission was to promote the dialogue between manufacturers and exhibitors as an independent consultant. Now he has launched ECCO Cine Supply and Service GmbH and is repositioning the company with his know-how about cinema technology when it comes to products, services and technical support.

As independent experts he and his team of six aim at being a single point of contact for exhibitors while becoming more involved in the integration of technology innovations and products. A detailed analysis of individual customer requirements forms the basis for future planning, purchases and installations. The aim is to offer all services from a single source, from consulting to support and maintenance services.

ECCO is focusing on the distribution of selected high-quality products. Among the current portfolio are renowned brands such as D-Box, Euroseating, DepthQ, SimplyX and Share Dimension. Projector manufacturer Christie will join as a new partner and ECCO will become exclusive distributor of the Christie Vive Audio product line of loudspeakers and sound systems in the DACH region. Another addition to the range of products are KCS loudspeakers of the Spanish company Kelonik. The portfolio is completed by products from the manufacturers Dolby, Harkness and Osram. A strong service partner is Veritek with a national network of engineers offering support on 7 days a week from 9 to 24 h.

"We would like to play an active part as industry experts and use our competitive edge which we have acquired due to our longstanding experience 1:1 for the sake of our future customers. Flexible, group-independent and quickly reacting to customer requirements, that is what drives us," Thomas Rüttgers explains. "Our activities regarding ICTA will be handled by our second business unit ECCO Consulting.” At the ECCO Open House Day on the company's premises in Hilden, Germany on August 11th, the industry veteran invites loyal and potentially new customers, suppliers and friends to get a personal idea of the new ECCO.
