The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Founded in 1978 by Eastman Kodak VP Ken Mason, membership is composed of its four charter trade organizations - International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) - along with over 40 member companies, made up of trade organizations, motion picture studios, exhibition companies, manufacturers, technical consultants, and other industry stakeholders.
 




The International Cinema Technology Association is a global network of professionals in the motion picture industry. Members of the ICTA are those companies that manufacture, service and create the equipment that goes into movie theatres. CineEurope 2022, has been scheduled for June 20-23, 2022 in Barcelona.  CineEurope promises to bring you another year with the very best in exclusive studio screenings and product presentations, cinematic technologies and innovations and educational seminars to keep your business on top of industry trends.



ShowEast 2022 scheduled to be held in Miami from Oct 17-20, 2022 at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, features a range of exclusive product presentations and screenings from both Independent and Major Hollywood studios to help you make important programming decisions for the 4th quarter box office.  Powerhouse seminars offer valuable insight from top executives on the latest industry trends and concerns; while our EXPO experience offers delegates a glance at the latest and best technologies, entertainment, services, comforts, and conveniences to make their theatres must-attend destinations.  ShowEast’s International program draws a large contingency of Latin and South American delegates – more than any other convention of its kind. A one and a half day program dedicated to the latest content and concerns and within this rising region.



CineAsia 2022 has been scheduled for Dec 5-8, 2022 in Bangkok.  Check links for more information.  The CineAsia trade show is where cinema exhibition and distribution professional come to do business and network. Warner Brothers and MX4D Team Up on Multiple Titles in 2019

Moviegoers to experience the latest in state of the art in-theater entertainment
California-based MediaMation Inc., makers of the immersive motion EFX experience MX4D, are pleased to announce that it’s teaming up with Warner Bros. Pictures to release a minimum of six multi-genre titles worldwide in MX4D.

Currently in release, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, leads the Studio’s MX4D slate in 2019, followed by Shazam! opening this week , and the much-anticipated horror film, The Curse of La Llorona, opening in the United States on April 19. Next up for MX4D programming will be the globally beloved characters in POKÉMON Detective Pikachu on May 10, followed by Warner Bros.’ and Legendary Entertainment’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters for on the 31st. Last but not least, the sixth title being released in MX4D under this deal is the highly anticipated IT CHAPTER TWO, coming to cinemas in early September. (Dates cited are for US & Canada and international dates may vary). Other 2019/2020 films are to be confirmed soon.

Children's films, action-adventure, horror and comedy all play extraordinarily in the communal MX4D viewing experience, which features such unique in-theater effects as fog, strobe lights, snow, rain, and bubbles; an full-motion seat effects including neck and leg ticklers, wind, scent, water and rumblers.

Because of its patented armrest, MX4D is the only company to offer each and every patron the same dimensional experience.

This announcement follows the incredible grosses and sellouts generated in MX4D over the holiday period with Warner Bros.’ global blockbuster Aquaman. And it follows the recent collaboration that brought MX4D to audiences in Japan and Mexico with the classic original, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone!

Currently, MediaMation's dedicated MX4D cinema auditoriums are in 21 countries, with 346 theaters and growing.
