Ballantyne to Demonstrate NEC Starus™ Line of Digital Cinema Projectors at ShowEast Theatre Industry Convention

Ballantyne of Omaha, Inc. (Amex: BTN), a motion picture projection, specialty lighting and digital cinema equipment and services provider, announced today that it will demonstrate its full range of digital cinema offerings, featuring the NEC Starus™ Line of Digital Cinema Projectors, at the annual ShowEast motion picture theatre industry convention in Florida (Monday, October 23rd - Thursday, October 26th at the Marriott Orlando World Center in Orlando, FL). As the master reseller of the NEC Starus™ Line of Digital Cinema Projectors in the Americas, Ballantyne will be showcasing the NC2500, NC1500 and NC800.
In addition to meeting with customers, industry participants and the media, Ballantyne management, including president and CEO, John P.
Wilmers, will be available to meet with members of the investment community at ShowEast throughout the week. Ballantyne will be exhibiting its traditional and digital cinema product and service offerings at its ShowEast booths (#s 700-706 and 801-807).

CineNet™ Cinema Network Automation systems at ShowEast. In addition, the visibility of Ballantyne's booth will enhanced by MiniTracker promotional searchlights from the Company's Strong Entertainment Lighting Division.
