Ballantyne to Exhibit NEC Starus™ Line of Digital Cinema Projectors at ShoWest Theatre Industry Convention

Ballantyne of Omaha, Inc. (Amex: BTN), a motion picture projection, specialty lighting and digital cinema equipment and services provider, announced today that it will demonstrate its full range of digital cinema offerings, featuring the NEC Starus™ Line of Digital Cinema Projectors, at the 33rd annual ShoWest motion picture theatre industry convention in Las Vegas Monday, March 12th - Thursday, March 15th, at the Bally's and Paris Hotels.
Ballantyne will be displaying its traditional and digital cinema product and service offerings at its ShoWest booth 1205. As the master reseller of the NEC Starus™ Line of Digital Cinema Projectors in the Americas, Ballantyne will be showcasing the NC2500, NC1500 and NC800 systems.
Representatives of Strong Technical Services (STS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ballantyne, will be in attendance to explain the intricacies of digital cinema installation. STS is a business unit dedicated to serving the growing digital cinema marketplace by performing site surveys, equipment installation, repair and alignment, film and digital projector maintenance, field and in-class training and after-installation service on digital projection equipment and audio components.
In addition to meeting with customers, industry participants and the media, Ballantyne management, including president and CEO, John P.
