The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Founded in 1978 by Eastman Kodak VP Ken Mason, membership is composed of its four charter trade organizations - International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) - along with over 40 member companies, made up of trade organizations, motion picture studios, exhibition companies, manufacturers, technical consultants, and other industry stakeholders.
 




The EDCF is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation that aims to act as a "Forum" to discuss key issues surrounding Digital Cinema in Europe. The purpose of EDCF is to provide a basis of common understanding across all European territories of the business and technical matters of digital cinema. 



The International Cinema Technology Association is a global network of professionals in the motion picture industry. Jim Gianopulos and Jeffrey Katzenberg to Join 3DX: 3D Film & Entertainment Technology Festival Special Guest: James Cameron

Announcing their participation in the Singapore hosted 3DX: 3D Film & Entertainment Technology Festival – the first-ever festival of its kind dedicated to stereoscopic 3-D – are 20th Century Fox Filmed Entertainment Chairman and CEO Jim Gianopulos and Dreamworks Animation’s Jeffrey Katzenberg who will open the proceedings with the 3DX business forum on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. They will be joined by Special Guest James Cameron.

The 3DX festival and forum will take place from November 19 – 23, 2008 in Singapore and will be comprised of a business forum and film festival including: public screenings, festival based showings of newly released 3-D films, international speaker sessions and a gala red carpet reception.

The Festival will be produced by Chabin Partners in Los Angeles and hosted by the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) with support from the Singapore Tourism Board, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore and Singapore Economic Development Board. Participating organizations include CNBC, Content Asia, The Hollywood Reporter, NBC Universal TV Asia, Star TV and Star Movies, TV Week and The Motion Picture Association. SingTel of Singapore has been named the Offical Event Partner of the 3DX Festival.
