Sonic Equipment Company and B&B Theatres Announce Collaboration on State-of-the-Art Cinema Project in Ozark, MO

On the heels of their most recent trendsetting collaboration, The Wildwood 10 with Marquee Suites, B&B Theatres and Sonic Equipment Company announce Ozark, MO as the location for their newest state-of –the-art multiplex B&B’s Ozark/Nixa 10.

“We have been working on the Ozark/Nixa 10 project for quite awhile now. The area has been growing and we knew it would be a great addition to our company” says Dennis McIntire, Director of Strategic Planning for B&B. To further aid in the growth of the Ozark/Nixa area, B&B selected Ozark based company Larry Snyder Construction to complete the ground construction of the multiplex, which began in December of 2010.

This groundbreaking multiplex will feature 10 booth-less auditoriums. The largest of the 10 auditoriums will spotlight the recently trademarked B&B Grand Screen; a screen extending over 50ft wide. Along with the booth-less auditoriums and the Grand Screen, Dolby 7.1 sound, Real-D XL Digital 3D, and the latest in DLP cinema technology are among the many first class amenities the Ozark/Nixa 10 will feature, all of which will be provided and installed by Sonic Equipment.

Kansas based Sonic Equipment has built a unique program that provides community owned theatres and  independent exhibitors like B&B with a broad selection of equipment from the top manufactures in digital, installation by certified technicians and a custom Preventative Maintenance program.

“We are thrilled to be working with B&B. Their innovative projects continue to offer Sonic the opportunity to push the boundaries and to stay on the leading edge of the cinema industry’s conversion to digital,” says Steve Zimmerman, Director of Business Management at Sonic Equipment.
B&B anticipates a Fall 2011 opening for the Ozark/Nixa 10.
