The Union Internationale des Cinémas/International Union of Cinemas (UNIC) represents the interests of cinema trade associations and cinema operators covering 37 countries in Europe and neighboring regions.​ ​

The International Cinema Technology Association is a global network of professionals in the motion picture industry. The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. The Number of Movie Theatres with imm Sound’s 3D Sound Grows Worldwide

imm sound, the leader in 3D immersive sound for the cinema industry, has installed so far this year fourteen new movie theatres with three-dimensional audio technology in the U.S., Korea, Italy, Ireland and Spain. Also in June the technology will come to Tokyo, Japan.

The announcement that the movie "The Impossible", directed by Juan Antonio Bayona and starring Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts, will be post-produced with imm sound's 3D immersive sound has accelerated the demand for theaters equipped with the system, which offers to the audience a new and full surround cinematic experience.

In the United States imm sound's 3D immersive sound has been installed in Galaxy Cannery theaters in North Las Vegas, Nevada. imm sound technology has been welcomed by businesses and the public who attended CinemaCon, which took place last April in Las Vegas. Visitors to the show have noted the impressive 3D audio demos at the Galaxy Cannery.

This theater in Las Vegas joins the Pacific Theaters in Los Angeles, which have the imm sound's system since early this year.

In parallel, ODEON & UCI Cinemas Group continues to open iSens rooms worldwide equipped with the imm sound's system, the latest of which are in Italy, Ireland and Spain. In particular, Italy has three new cinemas, installed in Fiumicino, Casaria and Milan. In turn, Ireland has two new three-dimensional sound cinemas from this year, located in Dublin; The Point and Blanchardstown. In the case of Spain, Cinesa Diagonal Mar in Barcelona, Cinesa Parc Vallès in Terrassa, Cinesa Méndez Álvaro in Madrid and Cinesa Puerto Venecia in Zaragoza, have opened an iSens theater each, equipped with 3D sound from imm sound.

Meanwhile, the Full HD cinemas in Cornellà, Barcelona, have enabled one more room with the imm sound's system, to respond to public demand registered in the first room with 3D immersive audio installed in the complex.

In Asia, imm sound has also arrived to Korea, with its first theater installed in the Lotte Yangju Theater. Also, from June, the Japanese public will be able to enjoy the imm sound's 3D immersive sound in Cinema Sunshine Heiwajima theaters in Tokyo.
