Christie to Bring RGB Laser Projection and Thought Leadership to ShowEast 2019

Christie^®, a leader in creating and delivering the world’s best visual and audio experiences, will be showcasing market-leading projection solutions, as well as cinema industry thought leadership and insight at ShowEast in Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Oct. 14-17.

Get up close and personal with Christie’s CP2309-RGB DCI-compliant projector on its main booth #301 (Splash #10) and at booth #501. In addition, Christie will join other leading industry thinkers in wide-ranging technology discussions as part of the show’s business seminar program.

Meet Christie RealLaser – CP2309-RGB and CP2315-RGB
The Christie CP2309-RGB is a compact, lightweight projector that features high-performance Christie RealLaser^™ solid-state illumination and CineLife electronics. Its ‘all-in-one’ form factor means it does not require any external chillers or special pedestals when being installed in a projection booth. These qualities – alongside the amazing cinematic experience - are ensuring that increasing numbers of exhibitors are making the switch to RGB pure laser to benefit from a long lasting and affordable platform offering exceptional performance well into the future. In addition to the Christie booth #310, the product can be seen on the Magna-Tech Electronic Co. booth #501, while the Christie CP2315-RGB can be seen on the Hong Kong-based GDC Technology Ltd booth #16.

”How to Make Technology More Affordable”
On the opening day of the show, Brian Claypool, vice president, Product Management, Cinema at Christie, will join a select group of industry peers in a panel discussion. The topic under debate is “How to Make Technology More Affordable” – a pertinent issue for the cinema industry as increasing numbers of filmmakers embrace new cinematic technologies to tell increasingly immersive stories on the big screen. Claypool will be looking to help demystify HFR and laser – areas in which Christie leads – as well as contributing to a discussion on how the industry can innovate to help deliver these compelling visual forms using cost effective solutions to audiences around the world.
