XDC Selects Christie Projectors for Major Digital Screenings at the 60Th Cannes Film Festival
Christie, a global leader in visual solutions for business, entertainment and industry, has been selected by XDC as the projection supplier for digital screenings at the 60th Cannes Film Festival, May 16 – 27, 2007.
Christie will provide XDC with the world’s most installed and preferred DLP Cinema projectors, the Christie CP2000 series, to screen all digital titles over the nine-day Festival. As the Official Digital Cinema Partner of the Cannes Film Festival, XDC will offer a complete digital screening solution for over 16 auditoriums at the Festival.

Last year, Cannes played host to more than 28,000 accredited industry professionals from 107 participating nations. A combined total of 149 features and short-films were selected with over 1,000 movies screened during the festival and the film market. Over the course of its sixty-year history, Cannes has evolved into the largest celebration of cinema in the World.
