The MI-2100 will be offered by DTS dealers as a stand-alone solution as well as by way of a package deal.
"We are excited to be able to offer such a robust system to our dealers, resellers and service groups as we continue to expand in the digital cinema market,” said Jason Vreeman, Vice President of Global Sales, DTS Digital Cinema. “This commitment to the masterImage system comes in response to the demands of our customer base which is looking to enter the 3D arena with a high end presentation at a reasonable price".
The MI-2100 has been embraced by studios and exhibitors alike for its pristine 3D color images, reliability, and ease of use. With a business model appealing to exhibitors, the demand for the
MI-2100 has grown exponentially over the past several months. The masterImage install base has reached 72 theatres in the US and includes recent expansion in Europe, Asia and Latin America since opening its North American office in October of 2008.
Peter Koplik, Chief Operating Officer of masterImage USA noted, "By partnering with DTS Digital Cinema we are not only reaching the people on the ground who are making things happen in our industry but also doing so with an emphasis on quality and value. This is what masterImage stands for as a company".
