Ymagis Group/dcinex Selects Adaptive Technologies For Its Audiovisual Mounting Solutions

Ymagis Group (ISIN: FR0011471291, TICKER: MAGIS), the European specialist in digital technologies for the motion picture industry, today announced a new service partner agreement with US-based Adaptive Technologies (ATG) for its rigging and mounting solutions for immersive sound system installations.

Under this agreement, Ymagis Group/dcinex will both distribute and provide support to European cinema owners with one of the most secure and trusted solutions for loudspeaker mounting and rigging, key elements in immersive sound installations.

“Immersive sound and high quality cinema sound installations in general require professional, well-engineered and safe solutions for speaker mounting and precise positioning when placed above audiences,” said Till Cussmann, VP Exhibitor Services of Ymagis Group/dcinex. “ATG has the right products and allows our supply chain to resell in the most cost-effective way. They understand the needs of our industry, which made them the number one choice for our professional cinema sound installations across Europe. They are also working closely on new technological developments with our preferred speaker manufacturers.”

“Making our cinema-related audio wall and ceiling surround mounts available for cinema projects in Europe took extra time for delivery and at a higher cost from California, when shipping one project at a time,” explained Paul Allen, President of ATG. “ATG needed a way to make these designs locally available. We had been working with Ymagis Group/dcinex over the last couple of years and found them to be deeply involved with cinema projects throughout Europe, Russia, Northern Africa and the Middle East. Because they have such a broad reach in these regions, it was only natural for them to serve as a distributor of our cinema related designs.”

Ymagis Group is the largest services company for immersive sound systems, with over 60 Dolby Atmos® and Barco Auro® 11.1 installations to date.
