The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation, Inc. promotes interactive dialogue and information exchange between cinema-related entities with the goal of resolving issues affecting the overall cinema presentation. Founded in 1978 by Eastman Kodak VP Ken Mason, membership is composed of its four charter trade organizations - International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA), the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) - along with over 40 member companies, made up of trade organizations, motion picture studios, exhibition companies, manufacturers, technical consultants, and other industry stakeholders.
 




The International Cinema Technology Association is a global network of professionals in the motion picture industry. CineAsia 2022 has been scheduled for Dec 5-8, 2022 in Bangkok.  Check links for more information.  The CineAsia trade show is where cinema exhibition and distribution professional come to do business and network. RealD and AMC Theatres® Extend and Renew 3D Agreement Through 2024

AMC Theatres® (NYSE:AMC), the largest movie exhibition company in the United States, Europe and throughout the world, has renewed and extended its 3D agreement with RealD across its domestic platform through 2024. In addition, AMC has committed to installing RealD 3D systems in all new-build theatres and as they upgrade, renovate and improve existing AMC locations in North America during the term of the extension.

The announcement was jointly made today by Adam Aron, AMC’s Chief Executive Officer and President, and RealD’s Michael V. Lewis, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RealD. AMC is the nation’s largest RealD customer with over 3,300 system installs in North America. On a global basis, AMC, combined with its global subsidiaries, has more than 4,900 RealD units installed.

RealD is the world’s preeminent 3D brand and #1 industry preferred 3D technology. RealD has the largest 3D cinema platform with more than 30,000 RealD projection systems installed in theaters worldwide.
